The only fees you might encounter are payment processing fees when paying rent online (which your landlord may cover) and the application screening fee if you're applying for a new rental.
You can pay rent using ACH bank transfer (lowest fees), debit card, or credit card. ACH transfers typically have a fee of 0.8% with a $5 maximum, while card payments are 2.9% + $0.30. Your landlord may choose to cover these fees for you.
